Biblical illiteracy is growing across the West. Many professing Christians simply don’t know what the Bible teaches. And many don’t even understand basic Christian doctrines.

A recent study found that a quarter of Americans claim to be evangelicals. But the same study found that only half of them strongly agree with core evangelical beliefs!

People are claiming the label “evangelical” without believing the Bible’s core teachings. Why? Because we have generations of Christians who just don’t know their Bibles!

Parents, I especially encourage you to get your kids into the Word. Help them know and love God’s Word from a young age so when they’re old, they won’t depart from it.
