Transcript

Earlier this year, scientists in China announced they’d cloned macaque monkeys. Now, news reports boasted that humans were next. Sadly, scientists have tried to clone humans in the past. And this is consistent with the evolutionary belief we’re just another part of the animal kingdom.

But in a biblical worldview, we recognize that a human clone would be 100% human. We’re made in the image of God, distinct from the animals. But we shouldn’t support attempts to clone humans.

Cloning is incredibly wasteful, with hundreds of embryos—precious human beings—dying in the attempt.

Human life is far too precious to throw away for research.
