So Why Do Science?

As Christians, why should we study God’s creation? Well, one scientist of the past put it this way. When we study God’s creation, we’re “thinking God’s thoughts after him.” The more we look at what God has made, the more we’re drawn to glorify and praise him for his wisdom and creativity.

We can also get ideas for how to fight the effects of the Curse in our world—it’s broken because of sin. Many of God’s incredible designs hold the answers to cures for diseases, better technological designs, or even innovative new products.

But science won’t save us. Our hope shouldn’t be in technology, but in Jesus Christ. He solved our biggest problem—sin!
