All around the earth we find scars formed by the impact of meteorites. Some of these impacts were huge and would’ve been catastrophic to plants, animals, and anyone living in the area.

Now, space agencies spend lots of taxpayer dollars each year scanning the skies to warn us when the next rock might hit.

These so-called “messengers from space” remind us that life is fragile. God warns us that a judgment is coming, and that we can’t do anything to stop it. So, what’s the message? Repent!

We don’t know when our lives might end. But the correct response isn’t fear. It’s placing our faith and trust in Christ. It’s in him that we find salvation and forgiveness.
