Copying God’s Design

As we learned earlier this week, there’s a growing number of people who think artificially intelligent machines are the next step in human evolution. Some people believe these machines will eventually replace us or even rule over us. Some think this is a good thing—others are concerned about the consequences.

But these machines aren’t evolving nor are they part of the next step in our supposed evolution. Artificial intelligence is an example of “biomimicry.” This is when humans copy God’s superior designs in their technology.

By trying to copy the way our brains learn, and programming machines to learn the same way, we’re simply copying God’s amazing design.
