Many secularists believe that so-called “thinking machines” are the next step in human evolution. They believe if we integrate with machines, we can escape the constraints of our biology—and maybe even death itself.

You know, this kind of thinking flows from evolutionary beliefs. If we’ve evolved from lower life forms through naturalistic processes, maybe we can give nature a hand and control our future evolution.

But we didn’t evolve, and we aren’t getting better! We were created perfect. But because of our sin, we now suffer and die. Our hope of escaping death shouldn’t be in technology but in our Savior, Jesus, who died in our place—and he offers eternal life to all who will believe.
