The Sanctity of Unborn Life

In many countries, including America, it’s legal to kill the unborn in the name of “women’s rights” or so-called “health care.” But we need to call it what it is—murder!

God’s Word gives worth and personhood to the unborn. God told the prophet Jeremiah that God knew him before he was formed in the womb. And the Book of Psalms tells us that God knits us together fearfully and wonderfully.

Scripture is clear that the unborn are persons. And according to Genesis chapter 1, it’s also clear that every person is made in God’s image.

In Genesis, we also read that killing someone made in God’s image is murder.

We need to uphold the dignity of every human life.
