In order to justify abortion, unborn babies are referred to as a mere “pregnancy” or maybe “tissue.” But from the moment of fertilization, a genetically unique person is present.
And the growth of this little person is amazing! By just four weeks, the tiny heart is beating. By the second month, the brain and spinal cord are well-formed.
A month later the baby can open and close its mouth and make tiny fists. Fingernails and even fingerprints are forming. By the end of the fourth week, most of the baby is fully formed and just needs time to mature.
A baby is a human being from the moment of fertilization, knit together by the Creator.
