All this week we have been looking at arguments from those in the church who want to affirm homosexual behavior. We have learned these professing Christians are twisting the Scriptures to mean what they want them to mean.

God’s Word warns over and over again about men and women like these who will teach what “itching ears” want to hear. They’re taking people captive through their human philosophies. But we’re commanded to take our thoughts captive to Christ and be obedient to him.

So, what does God’s Word say?

It says God designed marriage from the beginning. It’s his institution, not ours to redefine. God has defined true marriage as between one man and one woman for life.
