Studies have shown that newborns prefer faces to other shapes. A recent study showed that even unborn babies have the same affinity for faces. It seems babies have an instinct to look for faces—even before they’re born!

Many people try to downplay the humanness of the unborn so they can justify killing them by abortion. But studies increasingly show that you have to ignore reality to argue that unborn babies somehow aren’t human or aren’t persons.

Of course, science is just confirming the Bible’s teaching. Life begins at the moment of fertilization. And taking that life, whether he or she has been born or not, is murder.
