Water—Evidence of God's Care

Unless we are thirsty or in a drought, we don’t think much about water. But water is a remarkable testament to God’s care for us!

Water has high boiling and low freezing points. This keeps aquatic environments stable. It is uniquely designed to become less dense right before it freezes, so that the ice floats, allowing life to thrive under it. And the ice even serves as an insulator to keep the rest of the water in the lake from freezing!

Water is also tasteless and odorless, making it perfect for cooking. It is what you could call the “universal solvent,” meaning it can dissolve most particles.

God’s care for his creation can be seen in water.
