Errors in the Bible?

Transcript

The Bible is unique because it is the only book that was written by both human authors and God himself. But does the Bible contain errors because it was recorded by humans?

The writers in the Bible describe the Scriptures as flawless, enduring forever, and God-breathed. And the Bible says that God knows the end from the beginning and cannot lie. So, we wouldn’t expect his Word to have errors.

Now, if Scripture has mistakes in it, how would we know where the errors end and the truth starts? All of a sudden, we as humans are putting ourselves as the authority over God’s Word. We are deciding which parts we want to trust and which parts we’ll RE-interpret.

We need to trust all of God’s Word.
