Ötzi the Iceman

A frozen man was discovered in the Alps by two tourists in 1991. Now, the more we study Ötzi, the more we realize the people of his time—thousands of years ago—were intelligent.

His shoes were waterproof and consisted of four distinct layers. He travelled with a first aid kit that included plants to help fight infections or parasites. He carried the equivalent of a box of matches and a copper axe, among other tools and weapons.

This shouldn’t surprise those who start with God’s Word. Ötzi represents the people who lived after the Tower of Babel but before Abraham. Mankind was created intelligent from the beginning, so it is no surprise Ötzi knew how to survive in the harsh world.
