Transcript

Once upon a time, an angry crab caused a flood. It destroyed everything except a brother and sister who locked themselves and two of every animal in a big chest. Then a rooster’s crow told them it was safe to come out.

Does this Chinese legend remind you of something? Well, if you have read the account of the Flood in Genesis, you will notice some similarities. A global flood of water, a few people and animals saved, and a bird letting them know it was safe.

All of these elements are found in the true account of the Flood.

Legends from all over the world, as we show in the exhibits at the Ark Encounter, confirm that the Bible’s history is true. They show that all people groups carry the memory of a global Flood on the Earth.
