You have probably heard of legends about a massive flood around the world. But these aren’t the only legends that sound familiar to what we read in the Bible.
The Polynesians have a story about a group of people that tried to build to the sky, but the creator god changed their language. This happened after a great flood.
The ancient Sumerians in the Middle East had a story of a time when all people spoke one language before it got changed by a god. And groups in Asia, India, North America, and other places have very similar stories.
Of course, the real account of this event, called the Tower of Babel, is found in the Bible. Legends from groups all around the world confirm that the Bible’s history is true.
