A Foundation Problem

Yesterday we learned that America has a foundation problem. Instead of starting with God’s Word, man’s ideas now determine truth. There has been a huge shift in foundation. That is why we are seeing things like the growing acceptance of gay “marriage,” abortion, and gender.

What is the solution? Well, many people think a conservative-minded government or changing legislation is the solution. But this is a spiritual problem! Ultimately changing legislation won’t work because the next generation will just come along and change it back. Really, a political solution isn’t the answer to a spiritual problem.

The only solution is the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is the gospel that changes hearts and minds.
