The Bible describes creation as a supernatural event. God spoke . . . and things came into being. Now other verses describe creation as “through Him” and “by His wisdom, power, and understanding.” Scripture is very clear that creation was a supernatural event that shows the power and glory of the Creator.

Now, many Christians believe that God used the big bang to create. After all, someone had to get the process started, right?

Well, the Bible never describes creation as something God just started or even directed. He is actively involved in creating . . . by His powerful Word. To say that God just started the big bang, and maybe directed the evolution of stars and planets, simply ignores what God said.
