Now Why Are We Sinners?

Is what you believe about Genesis just a side issue, like many people think? Oh no!

You see, many of our Christian doctrines are founded directly in Genesis. Without the literal history of those first chapters of Genesis, these doctrines have no foundation.

Without using Genesis, answer this question: why are we sinners? It is pretty difficult, isn’t it? That is because Genesis provides the history that explains the origin of sin and why we need a Savior.

God created a perfect world, but Adam rebelled against His Creator. This brought the penalty of death into the world. We sinned in Adam . . . and continue to sin. We all deserve death. That is why we need a Savior! Yes, it all begins in Genesis.
