Our culture has bought into the idea that marriage is just a government or social institution. Since by and large they believe life and mankind evolved, people also believe marriage is just something else that evolved along the way. If this is true, why not just change what marriage means as society changes?

But Genesis gives us the true history of marriage. God created Adam and brought Eve to him to be his wife—the first marriage. The “very good” pattern for marriage that God designed and confirmed throughout Scripture is one man for one woman for life.

No one has the authority to change what God has created! Not the government, society, the Supreme Court, or the president. You see, marriage is God’s invention!

Many evolutionists say that creationists can’t be scientists because they reject evolution and millions of years. That is ridiculous—and thousands of well-educated creation scientists would agree with me!

Creationists and evolutionists study the same fossils, the same rock layers, and the same universe. Yet we come to completely different conclusions. Know why? Because we have different starting points.

You see, evolutionists start with the idea of millions of years of change from one kind into another. And they interpret what they see through that lens. But creationists? They start with the Bible’s history.

You see, it is the same evidence—just two different interpretations because we have two different starting points.
