The Gospel—It Begins in Genesis!

In our culture, it is a popular idea that man determines truth. If this is true, then there are really no absolutes and morality becomes whatever you want it to be.

When sharing the gospel in our secularized culture, it is important to point people back to God’s Word. Starting in Genesis, show them how we have a foundation that explains history, morality, and salvation.

First, show God as Creator of a perfect world. If He’s the Creator—He makes the rules. Then show Adam disobeyed God and brought sin and death into the world. We all sin because of our sin in Adam. Then point to Jesus Christ, the Last Adam, who alone can save us from the penalty of sin by His death and Resurrection.
