The first four “C’s” of history, as we call them, are the bad news of how humanity rebelled against God. The final of our “C’s,” three of them, present the good news—God’s plan to redeem humanity.

Christ is the fifth “C.” He stepped into history as the God-man. He lived a perfect life, something we could never do.

The sixth “C” is the Cross. Jesus willingly died on the Cross, taking our penalty of death upon Himself. But He didn’t stay dead! He rose from the grave, conquering death. He now freely offers salvation and eternal life to all who believe.

The last “C” is Consummation. Jesus is coming again, and will restore His creation to perfection.
