This is Ken Ham, and our full-size Ark is under construction and opening next month.
I often hear the claim that we can’t know the length of the days in Genesis 1. Well, the Hebrew word for day can mean a long period of time, but it usually means a 24-hour day. And we know which it is based on the context.
Many people seem to know what “day” means everywhere in Scripture except Genesis 1. Why is that? It is not because the context isn’t clear! Everywhere in Scripture, where the words evening or morning, night, or a number appear with “day,” it means a normal day. And all of these appear in Genesis 1!
People only ignore the clear context because they have trusted man’s word of long ages over God’s Word. We need to trust God’s Word, not man’s word.
