Proverbs 3:27 is one of my favorite passages of Scripture on leadership. It reads, "Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to do it." Embark, the Answers in Genesis internship program, honors that in a way I find quite exciting.
Equipping the next generation of Christian leaders has always been a priority for Answers in Genesis, and this program continues that commitment. Embark is designed to develop students professionally, personally, and spiritually through apologetics training and hands-on opportunities that only we can provide. I recommend you encourage all your students to consider an Embark internship with AiG no matter their degree pursuit.
– Ken Ham, Founder CEO of Answers in Genesis–US
All Embark internships are paid.
Embark is open to current college students pursuing a degree who are at least 18 years old and possess sophomore credits.
Embark internships begin in either February, May, or September each year. The duration will be a predetermined length that fits the needs of the intern, the department to which the intern is assigned, and, where applicable, the college internship requirement. This will usually be three or six months.
Along with coaching and hands-on training within your field, Embark is structured to assist interns in learning business basics like time management, problem solving, delegation, communication, and more. Embark also includes a series of development sessions to provide a well-rounded experience and programmed events to provide social and spiritual growth opportunities for interns.
We’re biased, but we think Embark is one of the most excellent internship programs you could pursue! Embark interns will experience one of the core values of Answers in Genesis, which is to serve the AiG family generously, with excellence, reflecting God’s love.
An Embark internship will help you to apply the skills you are learning in college in a workplace environment while gaining practical work experience with a supportive team committed to coming alongside interns and training them. After your internship, you will return to university energized, equipped, and ready to grow even more!
