In just three months, Deaf guests from across the country will pour into the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum for two days designed specifically for them—Friday, April 17, at the Ark Encounter and Saturday, April 18, at the Creation Museum. Deaf guests can enjoy captioned or ASL-interpreted shows, presentations, and more during Deaf Days.
If you are Deaf or know someone who is, we encourage you to come or invite others to Deaf Days at the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. This mid-April weekend will be a spring vacation like no other, and we’re excited to reach out to the Deaf community with these two special days.
At the Ark Encounter on Friday, the schedule will include a One Blood, One Race talk, which (like all the presentations) will be ASL interpreted, and two afternoon breakout sessions:
And at the Creation Museum on Saturday, the schedule includes sessions with Jeri Cooper (Executive Director of Jeri’s House, Inc.) and Luke Benoit. There will also be a late (7 p.m.) worship service with Kevin Hamilton (Founder of Deaf Biblical Counseling) and Micah Willis (Deaf Worship Leader).
Our Christian themed attractions are accessible year-round for Deaf guests, and we continue to expand accessibility features. Deaf Days are set aside for hundreds of Deaf guests to gather for inspiring Deaf-led worship and sessions with Deaf presenters and leaders.
Learn more on the event page and plan your visit. You can find additional details about the attractions at ArkEncounter.com and CreationMuseum.org.
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
