The Ark Encounter and Creation Museum are the leading Christian themed attractions in the world, bringing millions of visitors from around the world to Northern Kentucky (over 14 million total since these attractions opened). Because of our massive impact on tourism in this region, we are members of the Kentucky Travel Industry Association (KTIA). Each year, this group gives out several awards—and this year, we won four of them!
Here’s how KTIA’s website summarizes their annual Traverse Awards, which are given out for excellence in tourism:
The Traverse Awards [are] . . . where travel and tourism professionals are honored and recognized for talent, creativity and effectiveness. For recipients, the awards represent a way for hard working individuals and teams to receive the recognition they deserve, and for the communities in which recipients are located, to better understand and appreciate the work of the travel and tourism industry and the professionals who comprise it.
This year, we entered in three categories:
And we placed in all three categories! Our national Ark campaign and our ASMR video both took home bronze, and our “Two Boats One Day” campaign won silver. We were also honored that Eddie Lutz, our Director of Attraction and Resource Sales, was given KTIA’s 2025 Member of the Year Award! That’s a total of four awards.
Staff members from the teams that worked hard on these campaigns were thrilled about the awards.

Our staff continue to work with excellence to ensure as many people as possible hear about our attractions so we can spread the message of biblical authority and the gospel. Congratulations to our talented staff on these well-deserved awards.
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
