This summer, we’re hosting three (day) camps at the Creation Museum—two have already happened, and one is taking place this coming week. And they’ve been a huge hit so far! Families have loved the biblical worldview teaching combined with hands-on science exploration.
So far, we’ve hosted our Explore Jr. 3-Day Science Camp which was sold out with 60 campers (children ages 5–10, each accompanied by at least one adult). Our presenters shared how fun it was to watch dads, moms, and grandparents all doing science together. Over the three days, they looked at archaeology, biology, and zoology.

We also hosted our Explore Science 5-Day Summer Camp for 11–18-year-olds. It was also sold out with 40 campers. They had a great time exploring archaeology, physical science, forensic science, biology, and zoology through activities such as zip lining, a forensic case study, the science of disc golf, building animal habitats, and practicing electrochemistry.

After camp, the campers completed surveys, and the majority rated their overall experience as “awesome!” with forensic science winning as the favorite topic of the week. (Kids love forensics, so we also have an Explore Forensic Science 3-Day Summer Camp—that’s happening this coming week.)
We’re so thankful we can offer these unique, amazing, hands-on experiences for kids, young people, and families. Be sure to keep an eye on our Creation Museum website for when registration will open for next year’s camps—you’ll want to register your child before the camps sell out (they make great gifts of experience for birthdays or Christmas!).
