After nine months “lost in space,” astronauts Captain Barry “Butch” Wilmore and Captain Suni Williams are safely back on earth. Praise the Lord!
Please be in prayer for that process, that there would not be any long-term health consequences due to the length of their stay.
Barry is a great friend of the ministry, and he’s kept in touch with us during his unexpectedly long stay aboard the International Space Station. We’re thrilled that he and Williams have returned to our planet safely and have begun their rehabilitation as they adjust to the effects of gravity on their bodies. Please be in prayer for that process, that there would not be any long-term health consequences due to the length of their stay.
Barry loves Jesus and is so bold about his faith. Take, for example, this video where he was asked what he’s learned in his nine months stranded on the ISS—he used the interview as an opportunity to proclaim Christ:
Astronomical faith!

CBS News reporter Mark Strassmann to astronaut Butch Wilmore: What is your life lesson or takeaway from these nine months in space?
“My feeling on all of this goes back to my faith. It's bound in my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He is working out His plan… pic.twitter.com/uTYDUBi0wt
And he’ll be proclaiming Christ again—and sharing about his time in space—at the Ark Encounter for our first-ever Astronaut Encounter, July 12, 2025. I share details about this unique event in this video:
Don’t miss meeting three astronauts who’ve all been to space and who all love their Creator and Savior. Register today!
Oh, and all three Christian astronauts have seen the earth from space and will tell you it’s a sphere—it is not flat! And they have video and photographs to prove it too!
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
