The next big attraction to open will be at the Creation Museum. The stunning conservatory complex will be open in time for ChristmasTown at the Creation Museum, which begins on November 29, 2024—right after Thanksgiving.
The conservatory consists of four glass greenhouses, all climate controlled, with different climates in each greenhouse—tropical, Mediterranean, temperate, and arid. This not only will be the largest conservatory in Kentucky but will also be unique in the world in exhibiting the plants of the Bible.
Over time, these exhibits will mature and be absolutely stunning.
Now, our horticulturists are continuing to look for the species they need and are getting these plants established. So over time, these exhibits will mature and be absolutely stunning. There is also a special section housing some plants and an intriguing bottle tree from my home country of Australia.
Along with the new conservatory, our Creation Museum zoo, outdoor stage, classroom, gift store, and food pavilion will also be opening in time for ChristmasTown (the new zoo begins opening September 16). This will all be a stunning addition to our free Christmas programs that attract thousands from the tristate area, around the US, and even internationally.
