Christmas day may be past—but Christmas is still ongoing at the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum! Now through Thursday evening, December 30, both of our free family Christmas events in N. Kentucky are still on for you and your family to enjoy. Stroll the gorgeous garden of lights, wonder at the live nativity (select evenings), meet the animals in our zoos, and so much more during ChristmasTown at the Creation Museum and ChristmasTime at the Ark Encounter.
ChristmasTown at the Creation Museum features a spectacular garden of lights—one of the best in the region, along with a live nativity, petting zoo, Glice (synthetic ice) skating (ticket purchase required), free indoor showing of Encounter the Wonder in our special effects theater, and more. Here’s a short video showing one of the many lit-up dinosaur models you’ll find scattered throughout the grounds during your visit. People love them!
ChristmasTime at the Ark Encounter features a sea of lights, the 510-foot long Noah’s Ark lit up in changing rainbow colors, a traditional Christmas carol concert, drama with children from our K-10 Christian academy, zoo animals, and more. It’s a totally unique experience from ChristmasTown, so be sure to make plans to attend both.
Both events are free (you just pay for parking).
Here’s what guests have been sharing on social media about these events:
Plan your visit today at ArkEncounter.com and CreationMuseum.org. And come early in the day to tour both attractions before our Christmas events begin (the life-size Ark and the Creation Museum exhibits will close at 6 p.m., but the Christmas programs continue (from 5 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.). When you purchase your tickets online, you’ll enjoy $5 off a festive meal for every ticket purchased.
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
