Updates are coming to the Creation Museum! As I’ve previously announced, we’re upgrading and expanding at both the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter to better accommodate the many thousands of guests who visit every single day, as well as to provide even more teaching on God’s Word and the gospel. And I’m excited that construction has already begun on some of these upgrades!
You may have noticed there was no Answers News (our twice-weekly live news commentary program) last Wednesday or today (don’t worry—it’s back November 3, 2021). That’s because Answers News is temporarily moving to the lower level of the Answers Center, down at the Ark Encounter. Legacy Hall, where Answers News is normally hosted at the Creation Museum, is now under construction.
We’re updating to better present God’s Word, and we are planning to put in additional seats so more people can hear our important teaching sessions.
You see, one “problem” we’re addressing at the museum is the older technology that is becoming hard to repair in Legacy Hall, our 900-seat auditorium at the museum. We’re updating to better present God’s Word, and we are planning to put in additional seats so more people can hear our important teaching sessions. Thanks to generous donors just like you, we have already raised around half of our $17 million end-of-year goal, enabling us to begin work on various needed projects at both sites. Praise the Lord!
In addition to the changes at Legacy Hall, this winter at the museum we will begin the site work for the construction of a teaching center (with special classrooms) that will upgrade and expand our Eden Zoo, including a butterfly house and “plants of the Bible” greenhouses. It’s going to be a wonderful teaching opportunity called Eden Teaching Center on the grounds of the museum.
If you would like to help us with these upgrades, as well as other expansions that are coming soon, please visit our donation page to learn more and make an online gift. We are so thankful for the many people who have so generously given to enable us to do what God has called us to do.
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
