If you’re new to Answers VBS, you might wonder, “Which kit should I get? What does my church need?” As you navigate your first VBS, you’ll be relieved to know the answer to this question is straightforward, and Answers VBS keeps it simple with just two different types of kits: Super Starter Kits and Starter Kits.
What’s the difference between the two kits? Mostly music and posters. Our Super Starter Kit includes everything musical, such as contemporary and traditional songs, memory verse songs, song lyrics, music videos, and more. The Super Starter Kit also includes one set of animal pal posters and one set for each age group of teaching and memory verse posters.
The Starter Kit includes everything you need to begin planning your VBS (you’ll get one of each leader and teacher guide), but the Super Starter Kit adds music and posters plus samples of all the fun extras that kids (and your volunteers) love!
Wondering which Bible translation Answers VBS uses? We primarily use the ESV, but we do have resources available in KJV, as our project manager, Stacia McKeever, explains in this video:
Once you’ve decided on the Super Starter Kit versus the Starter Kit, you have one more big decision: Digital Pro—yes or no? While limited digital resources come with every kit, Digital Pro is an upgrade that makes running a VBS easier than ever (it’s like having a virtual assistant) with features such as:
You won’t regret the investment in Digital Pro—it’s a fantastic tool that makes a director’s job much easier. That’s why our Super Starter Kit + Digital Pro is our most popular VBS kit.
And that’s it—now you know which kits to buy to get started at Answers VBS!
