2024 VBS Clues Revealed

Amid sloths, butterflies, river dolphins, and dart frogs, your children will sail along on a fun jungle cruise, stopping at seven ports of call. These ports are the 7 C’s of History: Creation, Corruption, Catastrophe, Confusion, Christ, Cross, and Consummation. Kids will discover how these events shape our world, and they will learn to connect the Bible to their everyday life.

Now, you may be wondering how our five clues hinted at this new theme, so here’s a breakdown.

Day 1: Butterflies are found in the jungle, and our animal pal for Day 5 is Bliss the Birdwing Butterfly.

Day 2: During Day 2 of The Great Jungle Journey VBS, we’ll have rain-themed games and crafts as kids learn about the global flood in Noah’s day.

Day 3: During Day 3, kids will learn about the tower of Babel. This photo also includes a bit of greenery to point to the jungle.

Day 4: Snakes are another jungle creature, and kids will learn about the fall of man after Eve was tempted by the serpent in the garden of Eden.

Day 5: Since The Great Jungle Journey goes from Genesis to Revelation, the lesson for Day 5 will cover consummation and how things will turn out in the end.
