Get Equipped to Help Kids Stand for Truth with Our Conference and Showcase

Are you ready for a week of daring knights, fiery dragons, and mighty castles? Well, we’d love to help you get ready to host Keepers of the Kingdom, our 2023 Answers VBS with our Stand Firm conference, January 27, 2023 and Keepers of the Kingdom Showcase Event, January 28, 2023 at the Ark Encounter.

It is an exciting medieval adventure that will teach children the importance of standing on and for the truth, God’s Word by putting on the armor of God.

Keepers of the Kingdom will prepare children to stand strong in today’s battle for truth. To equip you to put on the best VBS ever and prepare you to confidently answers kids questions, we’re inviting VBS directors and volunteers to two back-to-back events.

Stand Firm Conference

On January 27, 2023, at the Ark Encounter, you’ll enjoy a full day of teaching sessions from Bryan Osborne, Tim Chaffey, Bodie Hodge, Dr. Georgia Purdom, and Ken Ham to equip you to answer the questions the children in your VBS are asking in today’s battle for truth. Bring as many VBS volunteers as you can to this conference! Plus, you’ll be treated to a fun animal encounter at the start of your day!

Keepers of the Kingdom Showcase Event

This is a one-day event specifically for VBS directors and volunteers to help you put on the best VBS ever, with tips and tricks from the talented people who wrote the curriculum and from those who put on Keepers of the Kingdom at our test churches this year, as well as experts in their fields. There’s great information on a wide variety of topics for churches of all sizes (and, not only that, but hundreds of other VBS directors and volunteers will be in attendance so there’s lots to be learned from others you’ll meet!).

This showcase features breakout sessions (even more than last year!) on topics such as:

• Decorating tips (including make-and-take decorations)
• Craft and science experiment demonstrations
• Games and snacks overviews
• How to host a sensory-friendly VBS
• Get-togethers with other directors
• Bible lesson overview
• And much more!

You’ll be able to browse products, look through a kit, and experience the various decorations up close. Our team will be on-hand to answer any questions you have!
