I really appreciated the article “The Problems with Pronouns” by Dr. Rosaria Butterfield. But even Dr. Butterfield fell into the trap of using a dishonest leftist term like “biological sex,” “biological male,” “biological female.” The classifier “biological” implies there is something other than biological sex, which is the entire premise of transgender ideology. Besides, it’s simply redundant. All men are biological males, and all women are biological females, by definition.

Editor’s Response
The term is not meant to convey that there is anything other than biological sex but to emphasize the truth that biology irrefutably shows that there are only two sexes.
In the latest Answers magazine (July–September 2024), there was an article titled “Inspired. Inerrant. In Question?” about God’s Word. In the fictional story contained in it, we see a vivid picture of a lady asking herself, “Can I trust the Bible?” The answer is simply yes.
—Jeremiah L.
Dr. Tim Chaffey’s Response
As the article’s conclusion clearly states, we can absolutely trust God’s Word. However, avoiding the difficulties in our English Bibles will not prepare people to deal with skeptics who challenge them on these so-called problem passages. Thus, the article provided practical steps a person can follow when confronted with a difficulty that he or she is not sure how to handle.
I recently discovered Dr. Snelling and want to read everything he’s written on young-earth geology.
—Colleen L.
Editor’s Response
Dr. Snelling has been a faithful contributor to Answers magazine from the very beginning. His biblical teaching on geology has shown us the world, from Antarctica to the La Brea tar pits, from the Grand Canyon to the Chicxulub crater. Check out his books and articles on the Answers in Genesis website. Enjoy the adventures!
What has gotten into you people? For years I have enjoyed, learned from, and been blessed by your magazine. In this issue (April–June 2024), I marveled over one article after another. The quality of this issue causes me to doubt that random chance variation could be the cause. Keep up the wonderful work.

I wanted to let you know how very great I think Answers magazine is. It is the best magazine I have ever read. I read it and look forward to it coming each time. I love the kids’ magazine and read it too, as I learn so much. I want to encourage you to continue the good work.

Thank you for the continual, God-honoring, Scripture-affirming, high-quality work that you do. I value your publication. For me, it is a pure clarion note amidst a babel of worldly murmur, a scaffold amidst a profusion of wrecking balls.

Many thanks to Avery Foley for the article “Making a Statement of Faith” (January–March 2024). It was so helpful for our church which is taking the time to evaluate its goals for the way forward. It is important, as you say, that we not become susceptible to “mission drift” which might take us away from our core biblical beliefs.

At the Creation Museum, Christian paleoartists are piecing together the past. How do they know if their presentation of extinct creatures matches created reality?
