Workshop and Tour Descriptions

Amazing Animals: Come meet some incredible creatures from around the world up close and learn about God’s design in the animal kingdom!

Beauty in Blooms Tour | Dale Spada: Learn about the planning and design that went into the stunning displays of the botanical gardens at the Creation Museum. Observe plants from around the world and get help identifying your favorites. Whether you’re an amateur enthusiast or have a green thumb and years of experience, you’ll love this up-close look at the gardens at the Creation Museum. Beauty in Blooms travels over foot-traffic-only bridges.

Born to Explore Creation | Peter Schriemer: How can you be a good steward of God’s creation? Join Hike & Seek host Peter Schriemer as he shares some live animals, fun stories, tips for exploring creation, and the biblical worldview for taking care of God’s world.

Dinosaur Detectives | Ben Dunning: What do we know about dinosaurs from the parts they left behind? Learn from some real fossils how these extinct giants are explained, starting with the Bible.

Fearfully and Wonderfully Me | Avery Foley Schu: You are wonderfully made by God! Discover his amazing design from the very beginning of your life in your mother’s womb as we explore the 7 M’s of Life. Designed for ages 3–8.

Flower Power | Dr. Jennifer Rivera: Did you know there are over 369,000 flowering plants in the world? God created a wide variety of plants to produce after their kind. Join Dr. Jennifer Rivera as we learn about the anatomy of flowering plants and participate in a flower dissection.

Golden Ratio | Patrick Kanewske: The golden ratio is a special number approximately equal to 1.618. We see the golden ratio displayed in God’s design, in geometry, art, architecture and other areas. You’ll learn the background and theory behind the golden ratio and will construct a golden ratio caliper to help demonstrate where it occurs in God’s design.

If the Shoe Fits | Dr. Dana Sneed: Did you know that God created every person with a unique stride, and this creates unique shoe print patterns? Join Dr. Dana Sneed as we learn about how to identify and compare shoe impression characteristics in this hands-on workshop.

K9 Encounter: Check out a LIVE K9 demonstration and discover how part of God’s creation assists our public safety officers in protecting the AiG ministry.

Kashtan’s Wildlife in the Zoo—Live and In Person!: You’ve seen Kashtan and Marc Bradley in their hit show on Answers TV, and now you can see them in person at the Answers in Genesis Homeschool Experience! Find out what it’s like to be a homeschooled family and run the literal zoo in their backyard. Marc and Kashtan will share about their family adventures, the importance of wildlife conservation and caring for endangered animals, how dads can be involved in homeschooling, and Marc’s perspective on spiritual battles in light of his combat experience.

Predators and Prey: Why did a loving God create animals with claws, fangs, shells, spines, or toxins? Meet some hunters and defenders to discover the answer!

Shockingly Fun Circuits | Roger Patterson: Join Mr. P (Roger Patterson) as you explore the relationship between magnets and electricity in this hands-on workshop and learn the basics of teaching these principles at home. With some simple tools and supplies, learning about how God has provided us with the ability to use electricity can happen in any home.

Sifting for the Truth | Corey East: Practice being an archaeologist as you sift, identify, and organize artifacts from a dig site.

The Skies Proclaim His Handiwork | Dr. Danny Faulkner: How do we use celestial bodies to mark the passage of time? Join Dr. Danny Faulkner as we use celestial globes to see how the stars change throughout the night and throughout the year. We also will see how the sun’s position changes throughout the day and throughout the year. These God-ordained changes and their purpose to measure time will become real to participants in this hands-on program.

Sssensational Snakes: Are snakes really as scary, slimy, and sneaky as they say? Learn the sensational truth about some of God's most magnificent and misunderstood creations!

Under the Lens: Archaeology Confirms the Bible | Corey East: Use a stereoscope to examine artifacts from the land of Israel and learn how it confirms the Bible.

Up in the Air | Roger Patterson: Join Mr. P from Unlocking Science as he takes you up, up, and away to explore the marvels of the invisible molecules and forces that allow us to fly, float, and move objects without even touching them. God’s power and faithfulness to uphold all of creation will be obvious as you enjoy this program.

Water: The Miracle Chemical | The Matzkos: Water is found running through the pages of Scripture from Genesis through Revelation. Join Dr. George Matzko and his wife, Darlene, for interactive science experiments that help explain the unique properties necessary for life on earth that we often take for granted. You’ll never look at a glass of water the same way again!
