Hey there, Creation Explorer!
A few months ago, we teased about a special adventure we went on to a beautiful corner of God’s creation—but we didn’t tell you where! We gave you some clues, and a few of you emailed us with the right answer. Well, now it’s time for the big reveal!
Okay, here were the clues:
Clue #1: We saw a 35-foot-long whale.
Clue #2: We saw the tides change as much as the height of a 3-story building.
Clue #3: We saw dozens of “Caution: Moose” signs and miles (or should I say, kilometers) of moose fence.
Clue #4: We had to change our clocks forward an hour.
Have your final guess in mind?
Okay ... *drumroll*
Last September ...
We went to ...
The Bay of Fundy!
This beautiful bay on the east (Atlantic) coast of Canada is one of the seven natural wonders of North America. Fundy is home to the world’s highest tides due to the length and shape of the bay causing the flow of the sheer volume of water that pours in and out of it each day (about 100 billion tonnes!). We saw the waters climb and then drop by nearly 40 feet (12 meters) throughout the day—it was amazing!
During our trip along the Bay of Fundy, we visited amazing places scattered throughout the provinces of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. Then we left the bay area to visit Prince Edward Island. Along the way, we made some surprising new friends—and, of course, we filmed everything so we could share our adventure with you!
That’s right, our newest adventure will be coming to Answers TV, Lord willing, in the late spring (Trevor is hard at work editing the adventure for you to enjoy!). We can’t wait for you to see it! We have some extra-special features for this adventure, including:
Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting new program (and if you don’t yet subscribe to Answers TV, ask your parents to try seven days for free so you can check out Schus Off! and all our other great programs!).
Well, we’re off on another adventure. Until next time, remember that no matter where you go adventuring, God is always with you—even if you go to “the uttermost parts of the sea.”
If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me. (Psalm 139:9–10)
