Visit the Zoo with Karina

Did you know that Answers in Genesis has two zoos at its attractions? The Eden Zoo at the Creation Museum and the Ararat Ridge Zoo at the Ark Encounter currently house about 200 animals!

Get to know some of these animals as you visit the zoo with Karina!


Karina Altman

Karina Altman is the Zoo Content Manager at Answers in Genesis. She oversees all the animal programs as well as content writing, outreach, social media, and tours. Originally from San Antonio, Texas, she earned her BS in marine biology from Texas A&M University at Galveston. She also holds an MA in biology from Miami University. She is currently pursuing her EdD in educational leadership from Liberty University. Since 2007, Karina has worked with a variety of animals in zoos and aquariums across the USA. Since she joined our team of zookeepers in 2015, Karina has become a speaker for the ministry, written articles for Answers magazine and the AiG websites, cowrote Awesome Facts About Animals, and shown amazing creatures to tens of thousands of visitors to the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter.
