Print one copy of the Review Questions for your use. Print and cut out one set of the Answer Cards for each team, adjusting the number of copies so each student has at least one card. For a small class, each student may have more than one card. For a large class, some students on the same team may have duplicate cards; in which case, they all must run to the noisemaker.
Put the noisemaker on a chair or table at the front of the room and have teams group up an equal distance from the noisemaker (i.e., along opposite sides of the room).
Ask a review question. Teams will decide which student(s) has the correct answer card. He (they) will race to ring the noisemaker before the other team. The student to ring the bell first will show his answer card to the teacher. If it is correct, his team will earn a point. If it is incorrect, the other team’s runner will show his card and earn a point if it’s correct. Runners will return to their teams after each question. Remind teams that answers may be used more than once.
Continue asking review questions, having teams send runners with the answer for each round. When all the questions have been answered, add up the points to determine a winner.
This Christmas season, learn how God promised to send a Savior, how God prepared for Jesus’ birth, and how Jesus’ coming brings joy.
