A concordance is an extremely useful tool for studying the Bible. It provides an index of the principle words used in a particular translation of the Bible. Each occurrence is listed in its immediate context. Sometimes a Bible dictionary or similar thematic index can also be helpful in providing references pertinent to a particular idea. If you have a study Bible, it will likely include a selective concordance in the back manner.
Using your concordance, search for keywords such as thanks, thanksgiving, and grateful. Record your observations on paper. Then, based on the Scriptures you’ve found, answer the questions.
God has commanded us to give thanks in all circumstances, including both good and bad times.
