New Single from TrueSong Streaming Now

Here’s what the band shared with me about this new single:

“Nothing Like the Blood” was written by the TrueSong members along with three other writers. The morning before the song was written, Zach Loyd (a producer with TrueSong) mentioned that a close family friend/pastor/evangelist, Don Pfeifer, used to say, “When you are trying to figure out what to preach or sing about, always preach or sing about the blood.”

This idea sparked the goal of emphasizing the significance of the blood and Jesus’ sacrifice. It was also a goal to incorporate the foundational ideas of some of the older hymns but package them in a fresh, modern sound. This was a special song to finish because it was our first song to be written entirely as a group.
