Update—August 23, 2010

I have just finished ministering in Montana, and I am getting ready to head to California in two weeks. I am speaking to an area fellowship of pastors and participating in a missions conference while I am there. WorldWide just received the following letter from a man who teaches high school to Chinese students in Korea. He has been accessing translated AiG material from WorldWide:

I know it has been many months since I received this helpful email from you, but I just wanted to let you know how absolutely essential the Mandarin translation of the NAB was for the "Bible Science" course I taught last semester. I used various NAB chapters as homework assignments for the students and included lots of information from the AiG website into my lectures. It was just wonderful to see the students realize that their is actual evidence for Biblical truth. All of the students are from mainland China and have grown up believing that faith and 'science' don't mix, so there were a lot of "oohs" and "aahs" throughout the semester as they saw how God's Word and His Creation are in total agreement. One student was so deeply moved by the course that he believes God is calling him to teach Creationism throughout churches in China after he returns. As in the West, there is a huge tendency in China for the churches to compromise by teaching the Day-Age Theory and unfortunately all the materials they use for such false teaching are coming directly from more liberal Christian organizations in the West.
