At this time of year, many people are making New Year’s resolutions. Why not have one of your New Year’s resolutions be to learn more about defending God’s Word? Doing this may be easier than you think!
In July of 2010, in the beautiful Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, Answers in Genesis will host an apologetics conference—Defending the Faith 2010. This conference is geared for the entire family—with workshops for children, a teen track, and even a special track for women (with presentations by yours truly!). AiG President and CEO Ken Ham had this to say:
Our goal for this family conference is to re-establish biblical authority in the home. Nearly 70% of today’s youth are walking away from church. It’s time we reclaim our children for the Lord.
The women’s track (which I am particularly excited about!) will have presentations on biblical womanhood, marriage and parenting. My husband and I spent our honeymoon in Gatlinburg (near the conference site), and have made a couple of trips back since then. Not only are the views of the mountains breathtaking, but there are family friendly things to do everywhere. Be sure to sign up before March 31st to take advantage of the early bird discount. I’m bringing my family, and I hope to see your family there too.
Answers in Genesis is an apologetics ministry, dedicated to helping Christians defend their faith and proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ.
