Hey there, Creation Explorer!
Having a creation adventure program means we get to meet some amazing creature friends, from ring-tailed lemurs to a mob of red kangaroos to a big-mouthed Pacman frog. But which creature friend has been our favorite to film with?
Trevor: “I think my favorite has to be the metallic stick insects at the Ark Encounter. These massive bugs look so quirky, and it was fun to film them climbing over everything—including Avery’s head!”
Avery: “We have met so many incredible creature friends—it’s so hard to pick just one! I loved meeting Gabriel, the sugar glider. He was so cute and cuddly in his little pouch. And having lemurs climb across my shoulders was an exciting experience (their hands are really soft)! But I think my favorite is one of the first creature friends we met, Boomer, a Bennet’s wallaby who lives at the Creation Museum. He’s so friendly and soft, and he loves eating cheesy crackers. It was really exciting filming with him.”
Winston: “The fennec fox! I love how she runs around and eats blueberries.”
Felicity: “Ella, the miniature donkey, because she’s really cute and small.”
Lois: “Aradillo!” (Translation: armadillo).

Well, we’re off on another adventure. Until next time, remember to look around you at all the incredible creature friends God has made and give him the glory for his creation, “You are the Lord, you alone. You have made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them; and you preserve all of them; and the host of heaven worships you” (Nehemiah 9:6 ESV).
