Did you know there are over 2,000 species of sea jellies (commonly known as jellyfish)? Though jellies don’t have brains, blood, or hearts, the Creator gave them some other cool features and amazing abilities to survive in our fallen world.
The largest jellyfish in the world is the lion’s mane jellyfish (above). It is named for the hundreds of long tentacles that make up its “mane.” These tentacles can be over 100 feet long—that's longer than a blue whale!
As an adult, the immortal jellyfish (above) can cheat death by “resetting” its life cycle and becoming a baby again. It can repeat this process over and over. As long as a predator or a disease doesn’t kill it, the immortal jellyfish can live on and on.
A species known as the upside-down jellyfish (above) sends out little snot balls filled with stingers to stun its prey.
The water, sand, and wildlife all point to the Creator’s handiwork.
