Hall of our Exciting Earth

In the beginning, God created the earth three days before He created the sun. Rather than being several billion years younger than the rest of the universe, as the evolutionary worldview claims, the earth is actually older than the sun, moon, and stars.

This section of the guide deals with exhibits of the many geophysical features of our earth—rock layers, fossils, plate tectonics, etc. It also deals with the various dating methods, pointing out problems with the billions-of-years ages that some methods yield. As you learn from these exhibits, remember that the Flood of Noah’s day (and its continuing aftereffects) played a dramatic role in shaping the surface of the earth.
