Saber-Tooth Cat

The best known of the saber-tooth cats was Smilodon. It lived in North America and was thought to be an excellent hunter. There were many types of saber-tooth cats. All saber-tooth cats were designed to open their jaws a lot farther than most of the big cats today. The canine teeth were like sabers, long and curved.
