Paul Davies, a well-known physicist from Arizona State University, told people at a conference recently that our planet may have many forms of “weird life” on it. He believes there is a possibility that “life on Earth has evolved more than once,” or perhaps that life on Mars was transferred to Earth. Davies says this alien life might be found in toxic arsenic lakes, deserts, or even hot hydrothermal vents in the deep sea. He thinks we should start to look for “aliens” here on Earth rather than in outer space. He imagines there is perhaps life totally different than anything with which we are familiar.
This is, of course, complete guesswork. And don’t expect his ideas to stop scientists from looking for aliens in outer space. Millions of dollars are spent each year by evolutionists hoping to prove that life could have evolved somewhere else in the universe.
There are certainly a lot of television programs and movies that have aliens living here on Earth. The latest Disney movie is about two alien children, and there have been many television programs about aliens who live with an Earth family. How many can you think of?
Creationists know that Earth has a special place in God’s heart. He created Adam out of the dust here on Earth. When Adam sinned and brought sin and death to our planet, God sent His only Son to this Earth to provide salvation for mankind (John 3:16).
