Pete

Hi! My name is Pete, and I am a miner. Do you know what a miner is? It is someone who digs deep in the earth or looks in rivers to find precious metals. It is hard work! It is not always easy to tell the difference between precious metals and common rock. Sometimes I find real gold, and sometimes I am fooled and bring up “fool’s gold.”

His Special Friend

My special friend who is always with me is Tumbleweed. He is a mule! He carries all my equipment and keeps me company on the trail.

Miner’s Equipment

Miners need a reliable pack animal (I have Tumbleweed!). I also have a bedroll for sleeping under the stars, a pick, a light (I use candles), a pan for when I pan for gold in the stream, and a miner’s pouch to keep my nuggets in!

John 14:6 “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” Jesus is genuine! He is Truth! He is the only way to get the true treasure of eternal life!

Learning About God
