Summary: Luke was a doctor who traveled with the Apostle Paul. Luke’s Gospel tells us more about Jesus’ birth and childhood than any of the other Gospels. Jesus is presented as both God and man. As such, He lived a perfect life and was the only man worthy to provide the perfect sacrifice for the forgiveness of sins. In this Gospel, we see how much Jesus loved sinners and those who were hated, ignored, and avoided. These are the people He called to repentance and eternal life.

About Jesus: Jesus is the perfect Son of Man. He came to earth to seek and save the lost.
