Apples and peanut butter, cheese and crackers, chips and dip—yum
You aren’t the only one who enjoys a tasty snack. After a meal, sea otters often save some for later by tucking the food into pouches of loose skin under their arms. They snack on these leftovers when they get the munchies.
Sea otters store other things in their “pockets” as well, like their favorite rock. These clever creatures use rocks to crack open shellfish (like crabs and clams) for meals. Sea otters are the only marine (sea-dwelling) mammals that use stone tools.
The same God who provides for his creatures provides for us—and that includes giving us delicious foods to enjoy.
Months before your birthday, God was knitting you together in your mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13).
